One framework · two systems

One channel, from care to coverage.

Lumen carries the full clinical signal on the provider side. MedPath screens and routes every injury script on the payor side. Together they form a single, continuous channel — so what happens in the exam room and what happens in the claim finally move in step.

Lumen's continuous record — signal preserved in its native form

Two systems, one flow

Each side of healthcare,
finally speaking the same language.

Provider side

Lumen

The intelligence layer for health systems. Lumen replaces lossy, schema-bound pipelines with Continuity — a record that preserves every signal in its native form and re-evaluates relevance against the question that matters now.

  • Continuity — the continuous, multi-modal record
  • Clinical Co-Pilot & Operations Engine
  • Built primarily for providers; usable by payors too

Payor side

MedPath

A non-dispensing pharmacy of choice for workplace-injury e-scripts. MedPath captures each script in near-real time, screens it for drug class and risk markers, and routes the claimant into the right care pathway — with AI as decision support for clinician review, never autonomous.

  • Capture · Screen · Route, near-real time
  • Care pathways from opioid management to ERAS
  • Serving payors: carriers, TPAs, self-insured employers

The exchange

Signal flows forward.
Trust flows back.

Lumen Certified Providers send clinical signal, scripts, and bills through the channel. MedPath screens and routes on the payor side. Authorizations, payment, and pathway decisions return along the same path — one loop, no translation tax.

What "Lumen Certified" means

Lumen Certified Providers participate in the Lumen program and its procedures — in particular billing compliance and transparency. Certified providers exchange data through the Lumen channel, follow standardized documentation and billing practices, and document care through Continuity. Certification is a program designation defined by Lumen; it signals participation and adherence to program procedures.

Program designation · not an external accreditation or regulatory status

How they work together

Four moves,
one continuous loop.

i.

Capture everything

Lumen · provider side

Notes, labs, voice, imaging, claims — Lumen's Continuity preserves the full record in its native form, so no column, row, or enum quietly drops a signal before the payor side ever sees it.

ii.

Certify the channel

Lumen Certified Providers

Participating providers follow Lumen program procedures — standardized exchange, transparent and compliant billing — so that what enters the channel arrives with provenance the payor side can trust.

iii.

Screen and route

MedPath · payor side

Every injury e-script flows through one screening point. MedPath captures it in near-real time, screens drug class and risk markers, and routes the claimant into the right care pathway — opioid management, physical therapy, behavioral health, nurse case management, or ERAS.

iv.

Close the loop

Payors → providers

Authorizations, adjudication, and payment travel back along the same channel to the provider — so the next clinical decision is made with the claim in view, and the next claim is made with the clinic in view.

AI assists. People decide.

Across the framework, the AI layer scores signals and recommends — it never directs care. Every MedPath routing recommendation is presented for clinician review, never autonomous, and Lumen's answers stay traceable to source data. The intelligence is embedded; the judgment stays human.
